Mine is a bittersweet story. It is bringing many joys, but has also brought many tears. I'm certainly not becoming a mother and wife in the conventional way, but then again I'm not a very conventional girl. I like to stick to the motto, "Well-behaved women rarely make history." I'm hoping my little bean hasn't chosen to follow exactly in my footsteps. His little motto should go something like, "Well-behaved children always get ice-cream." The odds are a bit against me, but I'm pretty sure karma is on my side.
